Slow Sunday Stitching - A Day Late

Yes, after church yesterday, I did spend the entire day on the couch, too tired to do anything except a little crafting.

I did a wee bit of stitching on the Princess and The Dragon.

But mostly I worked on a new crochet blanket. The yarn is Red Heart Unforgettable in Candied and the pattern is the Spring into Summer Blanket by Susan Carlson. Its a free pattern, but she also does several other gorgeous patterns that I may eventually purchase.

I'm hoping to get this to a throw size blanket at some point. Right now its about 15 inches across.

I plan to spend next weekend cleaning and organizing my house along with many hours of stitchy goodness. I might end up working Labor Day, but nothing is decided yet.

  1. I love your blanket! I crochet a little but I'm just a beginner. Those corner to corner ones look tricky.
