Yes, this post is a couple days late. It is supposed to be posted on the first Saturday of every month, but this Saturday we had our first official Kingdom of Akron event, which took up the whole day. Since I actually fought (and have a nice shiny bowstring-induced bruise to prove it), I was pretty tired when I got home.
Yesterday I had a splitting headache, so all I did was sit on the couch and watch quiet TV all day. So the YOTA update had to wait until today.
I've been working on my Profusing Butterflies project.

I have *almost* finished the blue butterfly (it just needs three stitches of purple) and the yellow butterfly only needs one more color of yellow and a little backstitching. Finishing the backstitching on a butterfly gives a very happy feeling of accomplishment.
Big plans for next Saturday, when I will be hosting a Garb Party for Akron Members. We will be making black and red surcoats, so I'd better go get to work on that pattern.
Butterflies are my favorite. Yours are lovely.

Lovely progress Kaelyn.

this is so beautiful
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Keep up the good work. I'd rather look at your pretty butterflies than the dirty snow outside my window. But dirty snow means that it's beginning to finally melt so I really can't complain. Weatherman said we may reach 45 today and all week it should stay in the 40s. Been a long time since we've seen those temps!
